Reentry Services

For men and women returning to the community after incarceration, we offer guidance, resources, and supportive relationships that help them rebuild their lives with purpose and hope. We believe that lasting restoration requires care for the whole person: emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically.

Reentry First Stop Center

Launched in 2015, the Reentry First Stop Center is operated by Cornerstone Assistance Network in partnership with Tarrant County and the Tarrant County Reentry Coalition. Located on The Resource Connection Campus in Fort Worth, the First Stop Center (2300 Circle Drive, Suite 2307, Fort Worth, TX) serves as the primary entry point for returning citizens reentering society after incarceration. Through orientation classes, one-on-one navigation, and connections to essential community resources, the program helps participants address immediate needs and build a path toward long-term stability. In partnership with Tarrant County, participant data is also tracked to measure recidivism rates, with outcomes consistently demonstrating rates below local and national averages. Tarrant County Reentry Coalition (TCRC)

Since 2013, the Tarrant County Reentry Coalition has been bringing together stakeholders and citizens to address the challenges of prisoner reentry. Their community-wide collaboration includes over 35 organizations and agencies, partnering for a long-range strategy aimed at breaking the devastating cycle of criminal recidivism in tangible ways.

TCRC envisions a future where men and women reentering society from jail and prison in Tarrant County experience a seamless transition back into the community. They will have easy access to the resources they need and the support that is so essential to start their lives over after incarceration.

They meet on the third Friday of each month, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Assistance Network, 3500 Noble Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76111 (Light breakfast and networking begin at 8:30.)

The meetings are open to individuals and agencies who work with neighbors reentering the community after incarceration.
